(Reno, Nevada – March 1-10, 2018) Telesis Systems, Inc. provided infrastructure and Information Technology support to the Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems’ (NIAS) “NASA Technology Capability Level 3 (TCL3) (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) Research Test Exercise; held at the Reno, Nevada (UAS) Test Site. The Nevada UAS Test site, located at the Reno-Stead Airport, is one of the nation’s leading test sites for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Drone Technology research and testing. Under the direction of NIAS and in coordination with NASA, Nevada is paving the way for the upcoming (UTM) system. We, at Telesis Systems, Inc., are extremely excited in being granted the opportunity to support this research and technology exercise for the NASA (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) system for Drone aerial management. The research conducted at the test site paves the way for (UAS) Drone integration into our National Air Space.
